NextGen Pastor

Are you ready to lead a revolution in the spiritual journey of the next generation? We're on the lookout for a dynamic and forward-thinking NextGen Pastor who not only loves God passionately but is driven by a burning desire to see spiritual transformation in our young community. Responsibilities 

Passionate Leadership

Lead with contagious passion that infuses a deep love for God into every aspect of NextGen Ministries, creating an atmosphere where faith comes alive.

Scriptural Depth

Develop and implement biblically sound discipleship programs that resonate with the hearts and minds of young people fostering a genuine understanding and love for God's Word.

Team Building Excellence

Recruit, mentor, and empower a team of volunteers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where each member contributes their unique gifts, ensuring a vibrant and united NextGen Ministries team.

Collaborative Communication 

Utilize modern communication platforms to communicate and collaborate effectively with parents, equipping them with resources and insights to support the spiritual growth of their children.

Roles

Our church is smaller but vibrant in our passion to reach the next generation for Christ, therefore this position will shape itself to the gifts and abilities of the right person and will involve a primary leadership focus on Student Ministry as well as one additional area of focus.

Student Ministries (6th-12th grade):

PRIMARY FOCUS

Coordinate and lead regular gatherings, events, and activities for students to foster a sense of community, connection and spiritual growth.

Please choose one of the two remaining areas that best fits your passion and experience.

Worship Ministry:

SECONDARY FOCUS

Lead and coordinate worship services, ensuring a spiritually enriching and engaging experience for the congregation.

Children’s Ministry (K-5th grade):

SECONDARY FOCUS

Coordinate and lead regular gatherings, events, and activities for children to foster a sense of community, connection and spiritual growth.

Qualifications

• Bible College/Seminary degree or equivalent experience in ministry leadership.

• Demonstrated love for God and a passion for seeing spiritual transformation in young people.

• A deep commitment to the truth of scripture and the integration of biblical principles in ministry.

• Proven ability to build and lead collaborative teams in a dynamic and contemporary ministry context.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
